Com enjoy French-inspired food, the gallery of student artwork from Ecole Mountainview, Ecole Jack Cook, Skeena Middle School, and Caledonia, plus a silent auction fundraiser for grad class recognition. Admission by donation. Sponsored by Canadian Parents for French,  wtih support from the Terrace and District Arts Council, Northern Savings, and the Province of BC. Spring Affair

Spring Affair is an art, craft and home (based business event). It hosts 30 plus vendors,and in the past 3 years has attracted 1,000 customers. Located on the Second floor of the Skeena landing building you will find jewellers, crafters, artists, bakers, and food vendors. This is Terrace's only Spring Craft fair, and a great chance to get out and see/support local small businesses, artists and crafters. Fill your easter baskets, Gifts for Mothers Day, Graduations, or birthdays... or just eat the yummy food from the local vendors .

Artist - Tania Millen will be giving a talk on Monday, April 10th at 7pm in the gallery.

Free Movie Night: The Mask You Live In

The Mask You Live In follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America’s narrow definition of masculinity. Part of a Youth Workshop Series focusing on sexual and mental health, peer support, and ending discrimination. Terrace Women’s Resource Centre is happy to partner with Kermode Friendship Society and City of Terrace Youth Advisory Committee.

Anti-Violence Workshop Description with Marlene George Title: When Silence Hurts This workshop is specific to Indigenous teen girls and young women. This workshop is to help understand and recognize the cycle of violence in intimate relationships. This workshop will focus on: • Psychology behind the violence • The violence cycle • The stages of violence • Peer Support • Anti-violence programs, what can you do? This workshop is part of a spring workshop series on mental and sexual health.

Strengthening Families Together

A free education program for families, friends, and caregivers of people living with a mental illness. Limited seating: registration is required. The course provides support to discuss challenges and connect with others who understand, awareness about mental illness treatment options, causes, research, available services and stigma reduction; and tools of problem solving, coping, communication skills, advocacy.
