When registration for lessons open....
- 7am - Online registration opens
- 9am - In person and phone (250-615-3030) registration opens
Note: If lessons are full at the time you are trying to register, you can put your child on a waitlist.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS!
- If you would like to register online, it is vital that your child’s current swimming level is in the ActiveNet system. Otherwise, you WILL NOT be able to register your child online on registration day. Please ensure your child’s profile is up to date. To do this, please call us at 250-615-3030.
- Children can only be registered in a class if they are not currently in lessons. Caregivers must wait until they have a report card with an incomplete or complete grade to register for the next set. Any child pre-registered for lessons before they have an incomplete or complete grade will be withdrawn and refunded.
- Haven't had lessons in a while? If your child has not been in swimming lessons for more than one year, we recommend doing a swimming assessment to help determine which level is most appropriate. Call 250-615-3030 to set this up!

Swimming lessons in Terrace have transitioned from Canadian Red Cross to Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program. Swim for Life is a nationally recognized program that focuses on the acquisition and development of fundamental swim strokes and skills for learners of all ages and abilities. Swim for Life is designed to be accessible, flexible, success-oriented and fun, with lots of in-water practice in every lesson.
