Egg Hunt & Spring Celebration

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon at Heritage Park Museum!

Bring your own Easter basket and search for eggs hidden around the park. Collect eggs and trade them for chocolate. Enjoy a variety of spring-themed games, crafts, and activities, such as an egg painting craft, planting flowers, Easter Bingo, and more!

This family-friendly event is FREE or by donation.

Seniors Wellness Free Info Session

Cohosted by the City of Terrace and Skeena Valley Seniors Society. 

Join us as we share info from local groups on senior' services, programs and workshops. Opportunity to ask questions and give input....raise your voice.

Aquatic Centre Closure

The Terrace & District Aquatic Centre will be closed from 9am to 3pm on Wednesday, April 9 due to a planned BC Hydro power outage.

The pool will be open for laps that day from 6am to 8am, but the 9am Aquafit class is closed.

Family Literacy Day

Terrace Community Forest grant application deadline

When

Terrace Community Forest LLP is now accepting grant applicants for the 2025 operating year.

Applicants which provide recreational opportunities within Terrace Community Forest operating areas, including Deep Creek, Shames/Amesbury and the Kitimat Valley will be given the highest consideration for funding. Other applicants which provide recreational opportunities for the Terrace and area will also be considered.

Chipping for Charity

Support local food banks and dispose of your Christmas tree at the same time!

On Saturday, January 4 between 10am and 2pm, bring your tree to the lot behind the Terrace Curling Club for disposal. Non-perishable donations to the food bank encouraged.

Town Hall with Mayor & Council

All community members are invited to a Town Hall with the City's Mayor & Council.

A chance to chat face-to-face with Council members about important community priorities and the 2025 budget.

Revenant - A Day of the Dead Celebration of Art and Dance

Revenant - a return from death or a long absence.

As we approach the day of the dead, we are reminded that all things must die, but in death there can be a beautiful rebirth. We leave the summer behind and fall surrounds us and we are given an opportunity to offer thanks to the gifts of spring and summer as they fade away.

Revenant is a show about that cycle, about the dead things inside us that can come back to birth new ideas long slumbering.

Jack-O Lantern Festival

Jack-O Lantern Festival at Ferry Island
November 1, 2, and 3, from 5pm to 8pm.

Bring your carved pumpkins to Ferry Island. Each night volunteers will light them up for you to enjoy at dusk.

All pumpkins will be composted after the event.

Thanks to community resident Colleen Davies for stepping up to organize this event this year.
