Property taxes are due Wednesday, July 2. The City mailed out all property tax notices as of Tuesday, May 20. We understand Canada Post may go on strike this Friday, May 23. We are hopeful most people who live in town will receive their notices before the strike begins. Read more

Recently, the City of Terrace's Parks, Recreation and Culture Department received letters from the students of a Grade 1 class at École Mountainview. The students walk regularly through the forests surrounding their school and were upset when they saw some trees had been cut down. They wrote to the City expressing their concerns and asking why.
