Celebrate a Life

When

The Terrace Hospice Society is hosting its annual Celebrate a Life gathering. This is a non-denominational candlelight ceremony, honoring those loved ones whom we have lost. This ceremony is open to adults and children. There is no charge to attend and everyone is welcome. You are invited to bring an unwrapped gift in honor of your loved ones. Donations will be given to the Salvation Army's Christmas campaign.

Death Cafe

The Death Café is hosted by the Terrace Hospice Society and is a place to talk about death, dying, bereavement, and to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. These gatherings are held internationally and are dedicated to discussing death openly. It’s not a counselling session but simply community members coming together in a relaxed atmosphere while sharing respectful and engaging conversation. Free to attend and coffee is on us.
