The Terrace Hospice Society is hosting its annual Celebrate a Life gathering. This is a non-denominational candlelight ceremony, honoring those loved ones whom we have lost. This ceremony is open to adults and children. There is no charge to attend and everyone is welcome. You are invited to bring an unwrapped gift in honor of your loved ones. Donations will be given to the Salvation Army's Christmas campaign.

This is a FREE presentation presented by the BC Professional Chartered Accountants as part of Financial Literacy Month. Everyone and anyone welcome to come. Pizza and refreshments provided. What we'll talk about: How credit works and how debt accumulates, good debt vs. bad debt, what you need to know about credit rating, and how to take control of your finances. The Death Café is hosted by the Terrace Hospice Society and is a place to talk about death, dying, bereavement, and to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. These gatherings are held internationally and are dedicated to discussing death openly. It’s not a counselling session but simply community members coming together in a relaxed atmosphere while sharing respectful and engaging conversation. Free to attend and coffee is on us. The 11th annual Guns & Hoses Charity Hockey Game is coming up fast! This popular event pits the Terrace RCMP against the Terrace firefighters in an epic battle on the ice. It's all in support of Canadian Tire Jumpstart, which gives kids between the ages of 4 and 18 equal access to sports and physical activity.
