Free Winter Rec Club for Kids

FREE Kid's Recreation and Culture Program Every Monday 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. except February 17 (Family Day). Jan. 6, 2020 - Mar. 2, 2020 For all Kids aged 8-11 years old in Terrace at the Terrace Public Library. Register at info@twrcs.ca or 250-638-0228 or via Eventbrite.ca. Limited spots available. Registration closes January 6, 2020. Held at Terrace Public Library. Adult Grief Support Group

The Terrace Hospice Society is hosting an Adult Grief Support Group January 14th to March 10th 2020. These meetings take place at the THS office every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. and there is a maximum group size of 8. Registration is required. Call Sue at 250-635-4811.

Interested in local food systems and security? You're invited to an afternoon of connecting with local farmers, food producers at the second annual Skeena-Bulkley Valley Meet and Greet. Join Vicky and Chris of Thimbleberry Farm - Terrace, BC for an afternoon of networking and idea-sharing. Make new connections and strengthen old ones among the region's agricultural community members. This casual afternoon will consist of an introduction circle, farm tour, and potluck grazing table. Dare to Dream Concert - Caledonia Music Program

The Dare to Dream week will culminate with the Caledonia Music students performing on Friday, Feb 28/2020 at 7:00 pm at the REM Lee Theatre. There will be a 50/50 draw. Please come out and enjoy an evening of music and support these students who are raising funds to attend MusicFest Canada in Calgary in May. Thanks to all of the clinicians who came to Terrace to support music in our community!

Coldest Night of the Year 2020

Walk-up registrations on event day are accepted. Registration begins at 4pm at 101-2812 Hall Street and we start at 5pm. Please note the cost to register is $25. Kids 10 and under are free, but must be accompanied by an adult. -- Start a team, join a team or walk as an individual and help us raise money for the hungry, homeless and hurting in Terrace, BC. This is a fun family-friendly event and all proceeds stay right here in our community.

Heritage Day - Share Your Feedback on the Heritage Conservation Plan

February 22 is the Terrace Heritage Fair in celebration of Terrace Heritage Day. Join us at the Heritage Conservation Plan booth, where we’ll be ready to get your input on the draft concepts of our Heritage Conservation Plan. After gathering feedback from the community last fall, we have developed proposed themes, values, vision, and historic places that will help conserve and celebrate Terrace’s heritage.

Red and White Gala

The Red and White Gala February 15, 2020 is a Dinner and Dance in the Red and White theme. This Semi Formal event is only $50.00 per person. We will be offering Prime Rib and Chicken, appropriate accompaniments and a dessert buffet where the chocolate will flow. There is a cash bar, door prizes, silent bidding table with rock and roll dance music by the Whiskey Jacks.
