The Drum Run Adventure Tour is visiting communities throughout BC and looking for your support in raising funds for BC Children's Hospital. Lyle Povah, an endurance runner and international musician, will be coming to your community.

Four Rivers Co-Op Fuel Good Day

On Fuel Good Day, 10 cents from every litre of fuel purchased at the Four Rivers Co-op gas station will be donated to Terrace Hospice Society.

Come by and fill up gas at the gas station below:

When: September 19, all day -- Join Terrace Hospice Society at the gas bar for hot dogs from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm!

A fall tradition in Canada, the Terry Fox Run is held in more than 650 communities to raise funds for cancer research. Let’s help keep Terry’s dream alive by holding an awesome event in 2023!

TDAC Annual Closure 2023

We’re gearing up for our annual closure at the TDAC. It's needed to complete work that can’t take place during the rest of the year while the facility is open to the public. This includes: 

  • Annual maintenance for all pool systems 
  • Repairs 
  • Grouting 
  • Deep cleaning pool basins and other areas 

Our goal is to keep the pool healthy and functional, which helps reduce maintenance-related service impacts throughout the year.

BC Day office closure:

The City of Terrace offices will be closed on Monday, August 7, in recognition of the BC Day holiday. Offices will reopen for business on Tuesday, August 8. Have a safe and fun long weekend!

Yard waste pickup for the week of August 7:

Due to the BC Day holiday on Monday, August 7, yard waste pickup will take place throughout the week. Please leave your bags on the curbside on Tuesday, August 8, and we will pick them up as soon as we can. Thank you!

North Coast Electrification Information Session

To help realize our electrification goals, we’re planning to build three new 500kV transmission lines and associated infrastructure from Prince George to Terrace through two projects: the Prince George to Glenannan Transmission project (PGGT) and the Glenannan to Terrace Transmission Project (GTTT).

Please join us at an upcoming Information Session anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to learn about North Coast Electrification and our plans for the upcoming projects that will support the needs of our customers and our province.
