Momma and Baby Cafe

Calm and neutral space for moms and their babies to have conversation and play. On some sunny days, we meet at 10:30am and go for a walk together. Every Monday 10:30 a.m. - 12:00p.m. at 4553 Park Ave. (Across from the pool) Free coffee and tea. All caregivers welcome.

ValhallaFest 2019

ValhallaFest is an Arts and Electronic Music Festival held at the Lower Shames Estate, a beautiful slice of forest on the Zimmacord River at the bottom of Shames Mountain a 5 minute drive west of the town of Terrace, BC, Canada. Valhallafest is the marriage of Burning Man, Kispiox, and old growth forest. It is a celebration of live music and love of the north coast virgin rainforest. We set the stage, you bring the magic.

Hike for Hospice

Join the Terrace Hospice Society (THS) for its annual fundraiser “Hike for Hospice” on Sunday May 5, 2019. The money raised is in support of the Rainbows Program which is an after school Grief Support Program for kids. On May 5th at 2:00 we will gather at the start of the Grand Trunk Pathway (by the model train car) which is an easy walk suitable for all ages and skill levels. The Registration booth will be set up in the Gazebo where we will collect the pledge sheets and donations.

4th Annual Business Walk

The Business Walk will be conducted by volunteer “walkers”, consisting of teams of civic leaders and business support service providers. They will come to Terrace and Thornhill businesses and ask a few basic questions about doing business in the area. The questions are meant to keep the visit very conversational, and will take only take a few minutes of your valuable time as a business owner/manager.
