100 year old celebration of Old Bridge

This Friday, July 11 at 1:30pm, celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Old Skeena Bridge!

Heritage Park Museum invites you to the northwest end (City of Terrace side) of the Old Skeena Bridge by 1:30 PM for a ribbon cutting ceremony and a beautiful parade of classic cars across the Old Skeena Bridge. We will make our way down to Thornhill Landing, located on Queens Way by Substation Road. You can follow us on the parade down, or if you prefer, you can join us at Thornhill Landing by 2:00 PM. Parking will be along Queensway Drive, as street parking. Bring your own chair and a happy smile to celebrate with us!

The Old Skeena Bridge held the title of the longest, one lane, wood deck, curved bridge in North America for 48 years.There will be light refreshments at Thornhill Landing as well as speeches to celebrate this momentous occasion in our community. We hope to see you there!
