Moose Hide Campaign

When
-

The Moose Hide Campaign is an annual gathering to take collective action to end violence towards women and children. In joining this campaign, men and boys make a promise to stand up with women and children to speak out against violence towards them, as well as support each other as men and hold each other accountable. Women, girls, and all genders are also encouraged and welcome to support the campaign and its goals.

Participants are encouraged to wear a moose hide pin to show a commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in their lives, work to end gender-based violence, and take action towards reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. Since 2011, more than 3 million pins have been distributed and thousands of communities and organizations across Canada have joined the campaign.

On Thursday, May 12, join the City of Terrace Mayor & Council in showing support for reconciliation and helping end violence against all women and children. The virtual event includes inspiring speakers, a ceremony, and a #FastToEndViolence. Register, order pins, and make your pledge to end violence here: https://moosehidecampaign.ca/
