Please follow guidelines on signage onsite. Kids using playgrounds are not expected to maintain physical distancing, but we recommend caregivers follow the provincial guidelines of 2 metres or 6 feet from others, whether at playgrounds, sports courts, trails, or fields. As always, stay home if you are unwell, and if there are too many at play, please come back later. We can all do our part to keep our community safe while enjoying our beautiful outdoor facilities in Terrace!
The City of Terrace looks after reservations for City-owned fields, school-owned fields (after 6 pm) as well as Regional District–owned fields. Here are a few reminders for sports groups looking to use these fields:
- All organized sports groups on any field for training or gameplay require a permit from the City of Terrace.
- We require proof of insurance with $3 million liability and the City of Terrace, Coast Mountain School District 82, and the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine listed as additional insured.
- We require a COVID-19 Safety Plan (many sporting associations provide guidelines for safety plans to assist with this).
All these items must be completed PRIOR to stepping on any field the City of Terrace manages the reservations for. Failure to comply with these guidelines and any PHO Orders may result in fines and the cancellation of your permit.
Need to reserve or want to ask questions? Please contact Leisure Services Administration at 250-615-3000.
Please follow guidelines on signage onsite. Play areas will not be disinfected after use, so if you choose to visit, please help your little ones wash their hands.
