In November 2024 City Council issued a temporary exemption to the Street & Traffic Bylaw No. 1313-1993 - this bylaw prohibits street parking between November 15-April 1 for City snow removal activities. The exemption to this bylaw was issued to alleviate parking challenges during hospital construction and it allowed street parking around the hospital during snow removal months.

This is a reminder that this exemption is no longer in effect, and all streets around Ksyen Regional Hospital are again included in the Street & Traffic Bylaw No. 1313-1993 and are subject to towing between November 15 - April 1.
