On January 11, 2023, City Bylaw worked with partner agencies to complete a clean-up at the site of the temporary encampment at the old Co-op property to address safety concerns.
The temporary encampment had been vacant for three weeks, and the stretch of warmer weather allowed access and the ability to remove previously frozen items. Considering these factors, City staff and partner agencies felt the timing was appropriate to undertake a clean-up. Read more

The City of Terrace can now offer investors and site selectors a virtual familiarization tour using virtual
reality (VR) video. A recently completed project by the City of Terrace combined VR video of key sites
and features of the community, two-dimensional videos and infographics, and online hosting to make
touring Terrace possible from anywhere in the world. Read more

Terrace Downtown Improvement Area Society (TDIA) will provide an update on the 4600 Lakelse Avenue Downtown Revitalization. Council will consider first readings of a bylaw to establish a Local Government Climate Action Program Reserve to place funds received from the Province until appropriate projects are identified. Council will review and consider supporting an application for new a Non-Medical Cannabis Retail Store License for Bath & Dhillon Cannabis Ltd. at 102-4746 Lakelse Avenue. Read more
