Improvements are coming to the Terrace Wolfpack Trail on Terrace Mountain.

The wolfpack viewpoint on Terrace Mountain has been an especially popular hiking destination since the art piece was installed in 2021. However, the sharing of the uphill hiking trail and downhill biking trail (Flathead) has created some safety concerns.

To increase safety and the overall experience, the City will be working alongside partners to upgrade the trail so that sections of the hiking and biking routes are separate. This project will also include more signage and minor improvements to the Johnstone trailhead.

Work will take place in April and May. The trails will remain open while work is in progress but may be closed from time-to-time.
