The rumours are true—the two new dog parks announced in 2021 are now under construction!

The dog parks are located at Eby Street, north of Parkside School, and on Haugland Avenue, just west of the ball fields. 

While fencing at both parks is almost finished, we are still working on completing the final touches on these projects. Both sites will be getting

• refreshed parking areas
• signage
• doggy infrastructure (poop bags and garbage cans)
• seating areas 

We understand some pooches have already been sniffing around! 

Please feel free to start accessing the parks, but please pick up after your dogs and pack out any garbage out until we have the garbage cans in place. Also, if there are workers or volunteers onsite, please respect their space.

In late spring, we look forward to the official openings of these parks once all of the work is completed, so we can celebrate the new community spaces, meet new dog friends, and thank our sponsors and supporters.
