SafeTALK – suicide alertness training - April 17th , 1-4:30pm, in Terrace. Every year, suicide is responsible for over 800,000 deaths - which equates to one suicide every 40 seconds. SafeTALK teaches participants to recognize and engage persons who are having thoughts of suicide and to connect them with community resources trained in suicide intervention.
