In May 2020, the City of Terrace secured funding for the Terrace Grant Writing Support pilot program, an initiative that will help increase city revenues while also providing assistance and support to local not-for-profit associations within the city. The funding will support the City of Terrace to contract the services of a professional grant writer for a year through the pilot program, which will be administered with assistance from the Terrace Community Foundation and with financial support from Northern Development Initiative Trust and LNG Canada.
The first cohort of applicants has been awarded time with the grant writer to pursue grant opportunities for their projects. See the news release: Grant Writing Assistance Pilot Announces Successful Applicants
