On the public hearing agenda:
- Council will be presented with details in preparation of 3rd reading of a Zoning Amendment Bylaw to bring a local industrial equipment sales and rental business (West Point Rentals Ltd.) into compliance.

On the regular council meeting agenda:
- Council will recognize five members of Terrace Search & Rescue for having been awarded the Governor General’s Commendation for Bravery along with a local resident’s receipt of the Fire Chief’s Commendation.
- Council will consider a request from Terrace Tourism for a letter of support for their Rural Economic Diversification and Infrastructure Program funding application.
- Council will receive correspondence from the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure about pedestrian safety on the Sande Overpass.
- Council will be presented with details of a new municipal Climate Action Plan.
- Council will consider Appointments by Council Resolution, the Deputy Mayor Listing, and the Schedule of Regular Council meetings for the 2024 calendar year.
- Council will consider a request for reallocation of funding for office reconfiguration at the Terrace RCMP Detachment.
- Council will receive departmental progress reports.

The public and media are welcome to attend our meetings in person. We also continue to use Microsoft Teams for virtual participation.
For those who want to tune in for observation only, a webcast is also available on our website or through our Facebook page. As a reminder, we cannot respond to comments on Facebook during the meeting.
How can you participate in upcoming Council meetings, public hearings, and more? You are welcome to participate in our meetings in person or virtually. Members of the public have an opportunity in the public hearing to provide their input on the topic being discussed once the Mayor calls for speakers. There is also an opportunity at the end of our regular Council meeting for the public and media to comment or ask questions about items on the regular Council meeting agenda.
