Public Hearing:

  • Council will consider third reading and adoption of a bylaw to amend the Zoning Bylaw by changing the zoning designation from RS1 - Rural Suburban Residential to
    R1 - Single Detached Residential for the property located at 4305 Munroe Street and a portion of the property located at 4301 Munroe Street.

Regular Council:

  • Marja Heymans and Diana Penner of Skeena Valley Seniors Society will be requesting a letter of support to repurpose the current Seven Sister building;
  • Greg DeMille of Skeena Sawmills and Skeena Bioenergy will be requesting that the City to provide property tax relief on the increase in assessed value resulting from various projects at Skeena Sawmills over the next three years;
  • Council will receive correspondence from UBCM regarding a provincial response to the City's 2022 UBCM Resolutions;
  • Council will receive correspondence from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs regarding the Growing Communities Fund Grant;
  • Council will consider adopting the draft 2023 – 2026 Corporate Strategic Plan;
  • Council will consider first, second, and third reading of the 2023 - 2027 Financial Plan Bylaw;
  • Council will review the 2022 Capital Projects to be Carried Forward for Completion in 2023 and consider $10,000 in new funding be added to the existing budget for Covid-19 Purchases;
  • Council will consider reviewing City of Terrace Policy No. 63 - Council Code of Ethics;
  • Council will consider first, second, and third reading of a bylaw to amend the Solid Waste Operations Bylaw; and
  • Council will consider increasing the budget for the Aquatic Centre Main Filter Tank project from the current $90,000 to $145,000.

Committee of the Whole (Development Services Component):

  • Council will consider first and second reading of a bylaw to amend the Zoning Bylaw by adding "Health Services Facility" to the list of site specific permitted uses in the C4 – Neighbourhood Commercial zone, for the property located at 3504 Kalum Street.
