The City of Terrace is completing its transition to automated curbside collection. Recycling, refuse, and organics are already collected using automated refuse trucks and it is time for yard waste to fit into this program. The City is investigating multiple options to continue the collection of yard waste and is gathering feedback on what level of service residents would like to see moving forward.
This survey is designed to determine the use of the current yard waste program, present a few options currently under consideration, and give a chance to offer unique ideas that may not be included in the survey. Survey results will help guide City staff in implementing a new yard waste program that best suits the needs of our community.
The yard waste survey is available from April 5 to May 13 on Engage Terrace. More information will be available soon regarding a hard copy option for those who prefer it.
