We recently announced that due to a new Parks, Recreation & Culture Fees and Charges Bylaw, our fees would be changing in 2024. Until now, this department has not had a bylaw to help set fees and charges in a clear, consistent manner across all areas of the department, from swimming lessons to ice rentals and everything in between. This new fee structure helps bring our costs in line with other facilities in our region and also helps with our cost recovery—and that means we’re better equipped to provide activities for you.
We also made two key changes to our age categorization. Currently, children are free until they turn 2; in January, children will be free until they turn 3! Plus, our seniors’ category has changed from 65+ to 60+.
If you’re interested in a facility pass for yourself or others (maybe a last-minute Christmas gift?), now is a great time to buy one. Fees will be changing on January 1, 2024.
We’ll be updating the various applicable sections of our website with these fees very soon, but in the meantime, we’ve compiled all the pricing in one place for you. Please see the tables below for details.

Notes:
- All the above options include the use of the swimming pools and fitness centre (age dependent).
- 10-Visit Passes can be used for either swimming or skating.
- Users of the fitness centre must be 14 years old to use the gym unsupervised. Those 12-13 may use the fitness centre under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or instructor (limit one youth 12-13 per parent/legal guardian).
- Users of the fitness centre under the age of 16 are required to have an informed consent form on file signed by a parent.
- Infants/toddlers under 3 years of age can use the facilities at no charge.
