The Northwest RC Club hosts a food drive for those in need during this holiday season. Accepting all non-perishable food items as donation and all food items will be donated to the Terrace Churches Food Bank. Each donation will get five minutes of driving time with one of the club's demo RC vehicles around the indoor track in the mall. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while driving a RC model.
There will be a Committee of the Whole meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2016 starting at 5:00 pm to review the provisional budget for 2017-2021. The meeting will take place in Council Chambers at 3215 Eby Street (City Hall) and is open to the public.
The Terrace Hospice Society hosts its annual Celebrate a Life ceremony at 7:00 p.m. in the Elks Hall. This is a non-denominational candlelight ceremony honouring those loved ones whom we've lost. Everyone welcome.

Skeena Diversity Society and the City of Terrace Youth Advisory Committee are hosting a Clothing and Toy Swap on Saturday, December 3 1 to 4 pm.
Donations of clothes and toys will be collected Monday, November 28 to Friday, December 2 between 11 am to 6 pm at the Skeena Diversity Centre. Donations will not be accepted on Saturday. We appreciate clean clothing, toys, or board games for all ages. Please bring only gently used, clean items in working condition. All remaining items will be donated to local thrift stores.
