Recycling Depot in Terrace

MMBC, Multi-Material BC news release announcing recycling depot in Terrace. Starting today, Terrace and area residents can take their packaging and printed paper recyclables to Do Your Part Recycling, located at 3220 River Drive, without charge, as it joins the Multi-Material BC (MMBC) network of nearly 200 depots. Click here for details.

Recycling Changes in Terrace

Please be advised that Multi-Material BC (MMBC) is adding to the network of nearly 200 depots across BC by opening up a Depot in the Terrace area.

Glass Pick-up

Due to the high level of participation our garbage collectors have not been able to collect all the glass in one day, and it has taken up to 3 days. If your glass is not picked up on the last Monday of the month, please be patient and leave your glass out until the Wednesday of the given month. If by Wednesday afternoon your glass is not picked up please contact the Public Works office at 250-615-4021.We are encouraging residents to put glass in rigid, plastic containers. Please remember to remove all lids from the glass jars and place them with the household recycling.
 

No Refuse Collection Friday, April 3

There will be no residential refuse picked up on Friday, April 3 due to the statutory holiday. If your refuse collection falls on that day, it will be picked up on Tuesday, April 7.

In April, we will host our annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2:00 p.m. on April 4th, at Heritage Park Museum. There will be egg hunting amongst the historic buildings, a candy exchange, face painting, refreshments, and a photo booth.
