George Little Park

George Little Park is situated in the heart of downtown Terrace. The Park was named after the town founder George Little and is a terrific gathering place for people to enjoy concerts, have a leisurely picnic or just to sit and visit with friends. The Park includes a Spirit Square, outdoor stage, fitness park and playground area.

Notice of Public Hearing OCP & Zoning Amendments for 4606 Haugland Avenue & 2701 Kalum Street

There will be a Public Hearing regarding request for an Official Community Plan Amendment and zoning amendments for the properties located at 4606 Haugland Avenue and 2701 Kalum Street. The Public Hearing will take place on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.

July 28, 2016 Committee of the Whole - FLNRO Presenting

There will be a Committee of the Whole on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at noon in Council Chambers. The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations will provide an update on the Coast Mountains Natural Resource District. This meeting is open to the public.

City of Terrace Releases Economic Development Strategy

Terrace City Council has approved the City’s first standalone Economic Development Strategy, building upon other planning documents and initiatives.

Riverboat Days Fireworks Road Closures

Parts of Terrace roadways will be closed on the evening of July 30th for the Riverboat Days fireworks display.

The City of Terrace is now accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations for 2017 Property Tax Exemptions. The application deadline is August 31, 2016.

50+ Survey Issued to Help Promote Healthy Aging

The confidential survey is administered by the Greater Terrace Healthy Communities Committee and is aimed at informing decision makers on how best to support healthy aging in our community.
