Cemetery Administration
The Leisure Services Department is responsible for the administration of the Kitsumgallum and Municipal Cemeteries.
Kitsumgallum Cemetery is located at the south end of Kalum Lake Road, and 2 km north is the new Municipal Cemetery.
WINTER MAINTENANCE REQUIRES THAT ALL PLOT CARETAKERS REMOVE THEIR UPRIGHT ORNAMENTATION DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. NOVEMBER 1ST TO APRIL 30TH. THE CITY OF TERRACE ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOST OR DAMAGED ORNAMENTATION. ORNMENTATION MEANS ANYTHING THAT IS NOT LEVEL WITH THE GRASS (FENCES, SHEPPARD'S HOOKS, BASKETS, BORDERS ETC).
