When is my garbage pickup day?
Bags or cans must be out by 8:00 a.m. on your collection day.
Is there a bag/can limit?
A two (2) bag/can limit per household for residential refuse is being enforced. Each additional container of garbage must have a City of Terrace Garbage Tag, plainly visible and securely attached, for it to be collected. These "Garbage Tags" are available for $1.00 each at City Hall, Public Works and the Aquatic Centre.
There is no bag limit on yard waste collection, but it must be in biodegradable bags only for collection.

SNOW REMOVAL
NO PARKING ON CITY STREETS DURING WINTER MONTHS
To facilitate snow removal, parking on City streets is prohibited during winter months (November 15th to April 1st). Any vehicle that impedes snow removal and/or road maintenance work on any snow removal route can be towed.
Also, it is an offence to place snow from any private property onto the road Right-of-Way; it creates drainage blockages, buries and plugs up fire hydrants and interferes with routine snow plowing and/or road maintenance.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
SNOW REMOVAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The City invites applications from qualified senior citizens and physically disabled homeowners for financial assistance for snow clearing costs.
