Campfire Ban in City of Terrace Rescinded

Effective immediately, the City of Terrace is rescinding the campfire ban issued on July 17, 2014.

Non-Profit Property Tax Exemption

Pursuant to the Community Charter, Policy No. 79, the City of Terrace is now accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations for 2015 Property Tax Exemptions,  application deadline is August 31 and the form is available here.

Campfire Ban in City of Terrace

Effective immediately, all campfires are prohibited within the City of Terrace jurisdiction to help prevent human-caused wildfires. The prohibition will be in place until September 15, 2014, or until the public is otherwise notified. Click here to view news release.

Kids N Kops camp 2014

Free day camp for 9-14 year olds held by TDCSS Big Brothers Big Sisters of Terrace in partnership with the Terrace RCMP. The goal is to foster positive relationships through fun activities and field trips that introduce children to what an RCMP officer does. The camp runs from 9:00-4:00 August 18-22. Priority is for children from single-parent families and children who have not participated before. There are still a couple of spots.  To apply please contact the Coordinator at 250-635-4232.

Genealogy Workshop

The workshop, intended to show participants how to conduct genealogical research, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21st in the Dance Hall at Heritage Park Museum. It is free, but call us at 250-635-4546 to register, as there is limited seating.
