Public Review - Draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan

The City of Terrace is seeking public input on the Draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan

City Moves Ahead on Environmental Work to Support Redevelopment of Kenney/Keith Property

Environmental work is taking place on the City owned property at Kenney Street and Keith Avenue. Our contractors are installing monitoring wells so that we can seek clearance from the BC Ministry of Environment to re-develop the property. 

Terrace Business Walk Survey Results

The City of Terrace and its partners would like to thank all of the businesses who participated in the 2016 Business Walk survey. The final report is now available and the results will be used as a comparison for future business surveys to track progress and trends.

Spring Clean-up Week April 26 - 29, 2016

SPRING CLEAN-UP WEEK April 26 – 29, 2016

Extra refuse is collected from City residents, without charge, during clean-up week.  Please have the extra waste material in plastic bags or containers to assist in the pickup, and set it out on your regular refuse collection day (but it may not get picked up until later in the week).  All branches must be neatly bundled.

This service does NOT include tires, propane tanks, or items normally charged for at the Terrace Landfill (such as commercial waste, car bodies, stumps, construction/demolition waste and major appliances), nor any items accepted at EPR Drop-Off locations (such as electronics, batteries, counter top appliances, paint, pesticides, and flammable liquids). Pacific Northwest Music Festival

The Music Festival will be April 14 - April 30, 2016 at various venues in Terrace. It is free to attend the events or you can leave a donation at the venue.   A syllabus can be found at or purchased at Sight and Sound, Terrace.  The entry deadline is Jan. 15, 2016.  All entries must be postmarked on or before that date to be entered in the Festival.
