The Mapping/GIS Department maintains a wide range of digital and analog geographic information for the City and Airport Lands relating to:
- legal parcels;
- addresses;
- building locations;
- infrastructure;
- zoning and OCP;
- floodplain;
- contours;
- topography;
- orthophotography;
- historical information.

In 2008 Terrace was the first community in Northwestern BC to introduce a free web-based mapping service to the general public. TERRAMAP offers the viewer access to our mapping in a user-friendly, interactive format. TERRAMAP functions with any PC (Windows environment) using Internet Explorer as the browser. The user will first be required to download a viewer or Active X control to facilitate viewing. The link to the viewer is available below:
