Change of Terrace Landfill Hours of Operation

Terrace Landfill will be on winter hours from October 01, 2014 to March 31, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kalum Street Reconfiguration Project

The City is set to begin work on the Kalum Street Reconfiguration project. The street conversion, designed and planned with support from ICBC, is intended to reduce the volume and speed of traffic, improve safety, and encourage more cycling and pedestrian traffic.

Fire Prevention Day

To celebrate Fire Prevention Week (October 5-11), the Terrace Fire Department is holding FREE Fire Safety Training at the firehall on October 11 from 11am to 2pm.

2014 Terrace Community Forest Grants

Terrace Community Forest, an independently operated logging company owned by the City of Terrace, is giving $100,000 to eligible community organizations.

Grants to Non-Profit Organizations

We are now accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations for City of Terrace 2015 Grants and Terrace Community Forest 2015 Grants. The deadline is October 15. Unsure if your organization is eligible? Read our policy.
