Every Bedroom Needs a Working Smoke Alarm

Fire Prevention Week is October 4 to 10. The Terrace Fire Department reminds residents about the importance of having working smoke alarms in every bedroom, outside each sleeping area, and on every level of the home, including the basement. 2015 Fall Clean up Week is scheduled for October 27 - 31, 2015

Provincial Burning Permit Issued

Residents are advised that there may be the smell of smoke in the air from a registered burn south of Terrace.

2016 Community Grants and Community Forest Grant Applications

The City of Terrace is now accepting applications from not-for-profit organizations for 2016 Community Grants and 2016 Community Forest Grants. The application deadline is October 15, 2015.

Glass Pickup Discontinued

Just a Friendly Reminder to all Terrace Residents
Please note that curbside glass collection was a temporary service the City of Terrace was providing and it is now discontinued.  March 30th, 2015 was the final curbside glass pick -up. Residents can now take glass, styrofoam, and soft plastic to the MMBC depot at no cost, located at Do Your Part Recycling, 3467 Hwy 16 East, Thornhill.
